When I first talked to Maddie on the phone, I knew I would love to photograph their wedding. Maddie is laid-back, sweet and funny. When I met Caleb at their engagement session, he proved to be the same! They are both very adventurous – when Maddie first started dating Caleb he had just returned from living a rugged life in Montana for a couple of years. They love to go biking together, so we incorporated their bikes into their engagement session! Their outdoor wedding this weekend was so beautiful – and also got interrupted by a hail storm. I can’t wait to share that story with you all, but for now, enjoy their engagement photos!
Isn’t this spot so sweet? I loved everything about it!
Even though most of my couples prefer laid back portraits, I always take some traditional portraits for all the moms and grandmothers. I have collected empirical evidence proving that these are the shots they love ;)

I can’t even tell you how in love I am with Areli + Bobby’s Mexico-inspired vintage wedding. It was so beautiful, fun and unique! Plus Areli and Bobby are two of the nicest people I have ever photographed – truly a sweet couple!

I can’t believe how long it’s been since I posted a full session! I sure miss blogging so I stole some time this afternoon to post Jamie and Cameron’s engagement session. We met for the first time when they traveled down from Tulsa for their Dallas engagement session that started around 6:30 in the morning to beat the summer heat (I don’t know about them, but I took a nap afterward!) Jamie and Cameron are precious together and just moved to one of the most beautiful states ever, South Carolina, for their jobs. I’m jealous of them and keep picturing them enjoying pulled pork BBQ with mustard sauce, walking the cobblestone streets of Charleston or touring old plantations (you’re doing all these things, right?) I can’t wait to see you two again at your Dresser Mansion wedding in March!
Prepare for a black-and-white overload. Jamie is so gorgeous, I really wanted that to speak for itself!
